DEATH ANGEL: North American Headlining Tour Announced

San Francisco Bay Area metallers DEATH ANGEL will embark on their first North American headlining tour in support of their new album, "Relentless Retribution", in early 2011. Joining them on the trek will be some of the best names in the new wave of thrash metal, including LAZARUS A.D., EARLY MAN, BONDED BY BLOOD, and HEXEN.

Commented DEATH ANGEL vocalist Mark Osegueda: "We are so excited and proud to finally be doing our first headlining tour of North America since the now-infamous 'Act III' tour of 1990! We have put together a lineup of bands that we feel will give all the fans what they deserve! An all-out blow showcasing all the best elements of thrash metal found today! DEATH ANGEL's new album, "Relentless Retribution", will be released on September 14 in the U.S. via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, AUGUST BURNS RED, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ALL THAT REMAINS, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER). The cover artwork was created by Brent Elliot White (JOB FOR A COWBOY, CARNIFEX, WHITECHAPEL) and can be viewed below.
